If you need more heat to maintain styles, we suggest using SmoothMoisture® Hush Hair Glass Serum and SmoothMoisture® Mic Drop Silk Effects Finishing Spray for added thermal protection and shine.
The SmoothMoisture® System is designed for those who thermal straighten hair regularly (silk press, blow outs, flat iron etc.) and want to extend straight styles for longer. You can use the SmoothMoisture® products each shampoo, however, we recommend using the Luxury Smoothing & Strengthening Crème more sparingly.

Yes. Because the SmoothMoisture® system does not have harsh chemicals and is formulated with hydrating oils like Argan, Marula, and Vitamin E it’s safe for color treated hair. The conditioning technology in these products helps lock moisture into the hair reducing dry, brittle, dull hair.
No; we do not recommend using permanent color or relaxers on the same day as applying the SmoothMoisture® System. After permanent color or relaxing applications, scalp irritation may occur when combined with our Silkening System. We suggest waiting 2 - 4 weeks before applying the SmoothMoisture® System for safer results.
Yes. Semi-permanent coloring is topical so it does not alter the condition of the scalp. Keep in mind using the SmoothMoisture® System along with the semi-permanent coloring may alter the desired color due to the nature of topical coloring.
Yes. If you plan to continue wearing straight styles, SmoothMoisture® products are the perfect combination for keeping your transitioning hair straighter longer while resisting reversion. It will protect the hair from heat, humidity and takes minimal effort to use as part of your thermal straightening routine.
The SmoothMoisture® System is designed for those who thermal straighten hair regularly (silk press, blow outs, flat iron etc.) and want to extend straight styles for longer. Curls may return during the shampooing process, but keep in mind that over time continued heat will loosen the curl pattern. If you want to easily transition between curly and straight styles we recommend you use thermal tools/heat and the SmoothMoisture® System only a few times per year.
To maintain the integrity of your beautiful curls, do not consistently use heat. The application of heat on a regular basis actually changes the structure of the hair and can leave curls limp and straight on a permanent basis.

The SmoothMoisture® collection is created for all hair types ranging from straight to curly and fine to coarse. When applying product please use discretion on the amount being applied i.e. for thin fine hair use less product and for thicker coarse hair increase product.
The SmoothMoisture® collection is created for all hair types. To protect gray hair, use lower heat temperatures. Recommended temperature up to 375○ F.
The SmoothMoisture® collection is recommended for people ages 18 years or older.
